The proportion, form and volume of the Rehearsal Room has been tailored to provide an exceptional acoustic environment in which post-graduate classical musicians and opera singers can hone their skills. The asymmetric roof helps the acoustic performance of the space and also responds to the two main axis of the site. The Rehearsal Room has been designed for the Amar-Frances Foster-Jenkins Trust, a charity that provides bursaries and accommodation for talented post-graduate students. The site sits within the Mapesbury Conservation Area in North London.
